Experience
Prior to becoming a medical writer in 2015, I completed a BSc in Biomedical Science and a PhD in Neurotoxicology, followed by 10 years of post-doctoral research in the fields of prion diseases and mammalian influenza within academic and government agency laboratories in Canada and the UK. During my research career I was an author on over 20 publications, driving my decision to transition to medical communications. I have held in-house writing positions to Scientific Director level, and I am a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP).
